Michael Kaddatz has over 30 years of experience providing risk management consulting to governmental agencies, pooling organizations, and individual enterprises. He co-founded ARM Tech in 1982, and served as its managing director until 2008.

Prior to 1982, Michael held a senior executive risk management position at Southern California Edison (SCE). He also served as a regional casualty underwriter executive at Employers Insurance of Wausau.

Michael is Past Governing Chair of the Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters’ Risk Management Section, and is Past President of the Society of Risk Management Consultants. A popular industry writer and presenter, Michael has authored numerous articles for leading journals and publications, and speaks often at PARMA and other gatherings of public risk managers.

Michael holds a BS in business administration and economics from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. His professional designations include Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
