Litigation Management
Our Litigation Management team consists of four licensed attorneys with municipal, law firm, claims, and trial backgrounds, two of whom specialize in general and employment practices liability cases, and two support staff with legal experience. We protect member, pool, and reinsurance/excess funds by partnering with members, claims administrators, and approved defense counsel to reduce litigation costs. What we do:
  • Manage litigation by identifying defective and/or insufficient tort claims, directing early and reasonable settlements, and assuring compliance with guidelines
  • Present workshops and training that help our clients recognize and address potential exposures
  • Assist members in developing consistent contract requirements
  • Perform liability claims audits for clients to reduce their overall costs of litigation
  • Prepare periodic claims status reports for respective governing boards
  • Act as a resource to selected defense panel firms in mediation, trial preparation and strategies
